Case Against Ashneer’s Family

The family is accused of embezzling ₹81.30 crore from BharatPe.
Allegations Against the Family
BharatPe accused Ashneer Grover and his family of committing fraud by making false payments under the names of fake human resource consultants and unnecessary payments to vendors. The company claims that fake invoices were created in the names of several people to siphon off millions of rupees. The Economic Offenses Wing began investigating this case in May 2023, and last month, a person named Amit Kumar Bansal was arrested for misappropriating ₹72 crore between 2019 and 2021. Now, the investigation has reached Ashneer’s family with the arrest of Deepak Gupta.
