One of India’s top businessmen, Gautam Adani, is planning to expand his business in the real estate sector. The Adani Group is in talks to buy a stake in a leading real estate company, Emmar India.
Adani Might Buy Stake from Emmar Group
According to a report by Business Today, Gautam Adani’s real estate company, Adani Realty, is in discussions for a possible deal with Emmar India. Adani Realty plans to buy a stake in Emmar India, and senior executives from Adani Realty are currently in talks with Emmar’s leadership.
Talks Are Happening in Dubai
The report, citing sources, mentions that Adani Realty executives are having meetings in Dubai with Emmar’s management to discuss the proposed deal. Emmar Group is a global real estate company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and it operates in India through its subsidiary, Emmar India.

Adani’s Real Estate Business
The Adani Group already has a presence in the real estate sector. Adani Realty started around 12 years ago and has a significant part of its business in Dubai. In India, Adani Realty recently secured the Dharavi Redevelopment Project. The company has also entered the property market in Delhi-NCR.
Deal Not Final Yet
As of now, there is no official announcement from Adani Realty or Emmar regarding the proposed deal. Sources say that the deal is still under discussion and has not been finalized. It is also unclear how much of a stake Adani Realty plans to buy in Emmar India. These decisions are yet to be made.
