Two New WhatsApp Features
This time, WhatsApp has added two very important features. These features allow users to tag anyone in their WhatsApp Status and also re-share someone else’s Status. These features are already available on Facebook and Instagram. Let’s explain these two new WhatsApp Status features.
Private Mention
The first new feature is called “Private Mention.” As the name suggests, it allows users to mention someone in their WhatsApp Status. Similar to Instagram and Facebook, users can now tag someone in their Status, and only the tagged person will be able to see that Status.

WhatsApp announced these two new features through its official blog. Currently, these features are available only to select beta users, but they are expected to be available to all users soon.
