Union Home Minister Amit Shah has criticized Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s recent statement, saying that Kharge unnecessarily dragged Prime Minister Narendra Modi into a personal health issue. Amit Shah, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), mentioned that Kharge’s remarks show how much hatred and fear Congress has for PM Modi, as they constantly think about him.

On September 29, during an election rally in Jasrota, Jammu and Kashmir, Kharge’s health worsened. While addressing the crowd, Kharge said, “I will live until PM Modi is removed from power.” This statement has sparked a political controversy.

“Kharge Has Surpassed His Party and Leaders”

Amit Shah also pointed out that Kharge has used more offensive language than even his own party leaders. He accused Kharge of being bitter and unnecessarily linking PM Modi to his personal health by saying that he won’t rest until Modi is out of power.

Shah added that when it comes to Kharge’s health, PM Modi, he, and others all wish him a long and healthy life. He said, “We hope Kharge lives for many years and witnesses the creation of a developed India by 2047.”

PM Modi Called Kharge to Check on His Health

Kharge’s health deteriorated during the rally in Jasrota, Jammu and Kashmir. After resting for a short time, he continued to address the crowd. When PM Modi learned about Kharge’s health condition, he called the Congress President to inquire about his well-being.
