Rishabh Pant made a remarkable comeback in Test cricket against Bangladesh in Chennai after his car accident. He scored an impressive century in his return match. During Pant’s absence, the Indian Test team seemed incomplete, but now it looks stronger with him back. After his century against Bangladesh, Pant has been a hot topic of discussion. Dinesh Karthik has now made a big statement on the comparison between Pant and MS Dhoni.
Karthik said that calling someone great after just 34 Tests is not right. Speaking on ‘Cricbuzz’, Karthik mentioned that the comparison between Pant and Dhoni is unacceptable.
He stated, “It’s not fair to say that someone who has only played 34 Tests is India’s greatest wicketkeeper. It takes time to reach such conclusions, but it’s clear that Pant will end his career as one of India’s greatest wicketkeepers.”

Karthik also added, “Don’t underestimate Dhoni as a wicketkeeper. He not only kept brilliantly but also batted well when it mattered the most for India. He also helped India win the World Test Championship Mace by becoming the number one Test team. So, when you talk about a player, you need to consider all these factors.”
Pant’s Career So Far
