Bollywood actor Govinda has been injured after being shot in the leg. The incident happened this morning around 4:45 AM. Govinda was getting ready to leave when the gun accidentally misfired. He was then rushed to CritiCare Hospital.
According to the police, they arrived at the scene right after the gunshot and took possession of Govinda’s gun. They are currently investigating the case. After the shot, a lot of blood flowed from Govinda’s leg, making his condition serious. He is now admitted to CritiCare Hospital in Andheri, and the police will record statements from his family members.
Govinda Out of Danger
Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, spoke to ABP Live and confirmed that the actor is now out of danger. He explained that Govinda was getting ready to leave for Kolkata and was cleaning his revolver before putting it back in the cupboard. During this, the pistol fell to the ground and misfired, hitting his leg below the knee. There is no need to worry.

Daughter Gives an Update
Govinda’s daughter, Tina Ahuja, spoke to ABP News over the phone, saying, “I am currently with my father in the ICU. I can’t talk much right now, but I want to assure you that his health is much better. After the gunshot, my father had surgery, and it was successful. The doctors have conducted all the tests, and the reports are positive. My father will stay in the ICU for at least 24 hours. After that, the doctors will decide whether to keep him in the ICU or not. He is being monitored continuously, and there is nothing to worry about. Thank you.”
Wife Not in Mumbai
Reports suggest that Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, is not in Mumbai at the moment. As soon as she heard about the incident, she started her journey back to Mumbai and will arrive in the next two hours.
