The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) is set to begin the recruitment of 15,000 drivers and conductors starting next month. To improve the operations of its buses, the hiring process for 10,000 conductors and 5,000 drivers will start in October. These recruitments will be done through outsourcing, and the agency has already been decided.
In a meeting, UPSRTC discussed various aspects and reached conclusions. To increase women’s participation in conductor recruitment, an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) has been signed with the Skill Development Mission.

Regular Departmental Recruitments
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission and Subordinate Services Selection Commission will also conduct regular departmental recruitments. Additionally, for the recruitment of dependents of deceased employees, a balance sheet will be sent to the government by September 30. Drivers and conductors will receive ₹1,800 for two uniforms, which will be given by the first week of October.
A 15-day workshop is being organized by the transport department to ensure smooth and regular bus operations.
