After Congress’s defeat in the Haryana Assembly elections, Deepak Babaria has resigned from his position as the state in-charge. He discussed this decision with Rahul Gandhi, telling him that it would be fine to appoint someone else for the role of Haryana in-charge.

In an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, Babaria explained that his health suddenly deteriorated during the election. He has previously suffered a brain stroke, and now he is facing some neuro-related issues again. Babaria shared that his brain was unable to communicate properly with other parts of his body, and he had to be hospitalized. Although he is feeling better now, his health still fluctuates at times.

Babaria Was Ill During Ticket Distribution

It’s important to note that Deepak Babaria was also unwell during the distribution of tickets for the Haryana elections. Due to high blood pressure, he had to be admitted to AIIMS in Delhi.

Allegations Against Deepak Babaria

Leaders from the camp opposed to Bhupinder Singh Hooda have often accused Babaria of favoritism, claiming he did not fulfill his responsibilities as in-charge. Some leaders alleged that Babaria only listened to Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s group, ignoring others like Kumari Selja and Randeep Surjewala.
