More Than 1 Million Orders Delivered
This service is already available in several cities across the country. According to Zomato, their train food delivery service is available in 88 cities. So far, the company has delivered more than 1 million orders at over 100 railway stations across India. Train passengers can now order their favorite food while traveling, and it will be delivered to their seat.
Order From Your Coach or Station
Zomato has named this service “Zomato – Food Delivery in Trains.” The company says that passengers traveling by train, as well as those waiting at the station, can use this service. This means if you’re waiting for a train at a station and feeling hungry, you can order your favorite food without having to leave the station.

CEO Goyal Shares Update
Zomato’s Co-Founder and CEO, Deepinder Goyal, shared an update on social media platform X. He wrote, “Zomato is now delivering food directly to your train coach at over 100 stations. Thanks to our partnership with IRCTC, we have already delivered more than 1 million orders on trains. Try it during your next journey!”
Share Price Dropped on Friday
Zomato continues to expand its business with innovative services. Recently, the company introduced the option to schedule orders. On Friday, Zomato’s stock fell by 3.66%, closing at ₹273.50.
