Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav has shared how the death of Australian cricket legend Shane Warne felt like losing a family member. Kuldeep said that he always felt a strong connection with Warne, and thinking about him makes him emotional.
Recently, Kuldeep visited the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) during a brief trip to Australia. He took a photo with Warne’s statue outside the stadium.
Kuldeep described Warne as his idol and mentioned that he felt deeply connected to him. Warne passed away in 2022 due to a heart attack while on vacation in Thailand.
Kuldeep’s visit to Australia comes a few months before the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series, which starts on November 22 in Perth. He expressed his excitement for the series and mentioned looking forward to the competition between Australia and India.
Kuldeep also visited Cricket Australia’s headquarters and had an online chat with CEO Nick Hockley. He thanked Indian cricket fans for their continuous support and expected a large turnout for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, especially for the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne on December 26.
