Earthquake in Pakistan: 5.8 Magnitude Shakes Delhi to Chandigarh

On Wednesday, an earthquake struck Pakistan with a magnitude of 5.8 on the Richter scale, according to the National Center for Seismology. The tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR, Chandigarh, and surrounding areas. The epicenter of the earthquake was reported to be in Pakistan.

In Pakistan, cities like Islamabad and Lahore also experienced the shaking from the earthquake. Fortunately, there have been no reports of damage or casualties. After the quake, many people were frightened and left their homes. Videos of the tremors are going viral on social media.

Where Else Were the Tremors Felt?

The earthquake was also felt in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Jammu and Kashmir. There are reports that tremors were felt in Afghanistan as well. This is the second time in two weeks that Delhi-NCR has experienced such shaking.
