Motorola has launched the Moto Pad 70 in India, adding another tablet to its growing Moto Pad lineup. The new tablet comes with a bundled Moto Pen, a large 10,200mAh battery and a 12.1-inch 2.5K display aimed at users who want a device for entertainment, productivity and everyday work.
The Moto Pad 70 price in India is set at ₹33,999. It will go on sale from August 15 through Flipkart, Motorola’s online store and select retail outlets across the country.
Motorola Moto Pad 70: Display and Design
The Moto Pad 70 features a 12.1-inch 2.5K display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel covers 96% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and can reach up to 800 nits of brightness.
Motorola has kept the tablet relatively slim at just 6.29mm, while its weight is around 530 grams. The tablet is offered in a Pantone Titan Sea Angel colour option.
One of the key additions is the Moto Pen, which comes bundled with the tablet. This makes the Moto Pad 70 more suitable for taking notes, drawing and other creative tasks without requiring a separate stylus purchase.
Moto Pad 70 Performance and Storage
Powering the tablet is the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM. The device comes with up to 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 2TB using a microSD card.
The Moto Pad 70 runs Android 16 out of the box. Motorola says the tablet will receive an upgrade to Android 17 along with three years of security updates.
10,200mAh Battery With 68W Charger
The Moto Pad 70 packs a large 10,200mAh battery, designed to provide extended usage between charges. Motorola also includes a 68W charger in the box, which should help users recharge the tablet faster.
For entertainment, the tablet comes equipped with quad speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio.
Cameras and Smart Connect
For photography and video calls, the Moto Pad 70 has a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.
The tablet also supports Motorola’s Smart Connect feature. It allows compatible Motorola smartphones, tablets and PCs to work together, making it easier to move between devices and share content.
