Recently, senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Ashwini Choubey demanded that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar should be made the Deputy Prime Minister of India. He said that Nitish Kumar is working closely with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and it would be right to give him this important post. If this happens, Nitish Kumar would be the second Deputy PM of the country. After this statement, politics in Bihar heated up.
Chirag Paswan’s Response
On this matter, Union Minister Chirag Paswan gave his reaction. He said that such discussions cannot start just because one person makes a demand. If any such official proposal ever comes within the NDA alliance, it will be discussed with all alliance partners, and only then it would be right to comment.
RJD’s Sharp Reaction
Reacting to this, RJD leader Mrityunjay Tiwari said that the BJP and NDA want to get rid of Nitish Kumar. He added that sometimes BJP leaders talk about giving Nitish Kumar the Bharat Ratna, and now about making him Deputy PM. These statements show that Nitish Kumar is completely troubled and leaders from BJP and NDA are making fun of him.
‘No One Ready to Tolerate Nitish’
The RJD leader also said that now no one in the NDA wants to tolerate Nitish Kumar. Politics in Bihar has intensified after Ashwini Choubey’s statement. The opposition is calling Nitish helpless within the NDA. The RJD claimed that the BJP is mocking Nitish Kumar through these demands. It’s also worth noting that a while back, Ashwini Choubey had called Nitish Kumar’s son, Nishant Kumar, a future CM material.
