In Bhagalpur Police Line, five bodies were found under suspicious circumstances. The police investigation revealed that a police constable’s husband killed his family before taking his own life.
The incident has shocked the police department in Bhagalpur. The bodies of a female constable and four family members were discovered in their quarters. The news spread quickly, and senior police officials arrived at the scene, including the DIG, SSP, City SP, City DSP, and other officers.
Husband Kills Family and Then Commits Suicide
The police arrived at the scene and started an investigation. They found a suicide note in which the constable’s husband admitted to the murders. Reports suggest that the man killed his wife, two children, and his mother before hanging himself. All entry doors to the police line have been sealed off as the investigation continues.

Bhagalpur DIG Vivekanand provided details, stating that the bodies of Constable Neetu Kumari, her two children, and her mother-in-law were found with their throats slit. Neetu’s husband was found hanging. The family has been informed about the tragedy. Constable Neetu Kumari, from the 2015 batch, had been having ongoing disputes with her husband, which had been noted by nearby police officers. The couple had argued the previous evening. This incident is beyond imagination.
