CM Nitish Kumar Meeting: The political situation in Bihar and preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections have led the JDU to call for a major meeting. This meeting has been scheduled under the instructions of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The important meeting of the JDU state executive will take place tomorrow (5th October) at the Karpoori Auditorium in the JDU office. This meeting is considered crucial as it focuses on the 2025 Assembly elections.
Aiming for More Seats than 2010
The big meeting of the JDU executive is expected to make significant decisions. According to sources, the JDU is preparing to claim 120 seats in the upcoming elections. JDU leaders are confident they will secure more seats than they did in 2010. They are not focusing on the results of 2020, as the party performed poorly that year. This is why they are comparing their preparations to 2010. It is believed that the leaders will make important decisions regarding seat allocation during the meeting.
Leaders to Receive Important Guidelines
Recently, a 118-member state executive was formed, including state president Umesh Kushwaha. However, there hasn’t been a significant meeting since then. The upcoming meeting will include the national president, former national president, and all senior party leaders. This meeting, held during the Dussehra period, could be crucial for Mission 2025. Additionally, several political proposals and other decisions will be passed in the state executive meeting. Leaders will also receive guidelines on how to overcome election challenges.
