CM Yogi Adityanath Hints at His Future in Politics

Date:

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is often seen as a strong leader in Indian politics. Many people believe that after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Yogi could be the next big leader of the BJP. Now, CM Yogi himself has responded to these speculations and talked about his future plans.

What Did CM Yogi Say About 2027 Elections?

Speaking at an India Today event, CM Yogi was asked about the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections. He confidently said:

🗣️ “In 2027, the fight will be 80-20. BJP and its allies will have 80%, and the remaining parties will be in the 20%. The results will be the same, and we are working towards that goal.”

Does CM Yogi Want to Go to Delhi?

When asked if he sees himself as PM Modi’s successor, CM Yogi dismissed the idea. He made it clear that he is not interested in Delhi politics but would rather go back to Gorakhpur, where he has been a spiritual and political leader for many years.

🗣️ “I am not anyone’s successor. I am a Yogi, and I want to continue serving the people. My responsibility is to serve Uttar Pradesh, and I am fully committed to that. I would be happier if I get the chance to return to Gorakhpur and continue my spiritual journey.”

CM Yogi’s View on Aurangzeb Controversy

During the discussion, CM Yogi also commented on the Aurangzeb controversy. He criticized people who see Aurangzeb as a hero.

🗣️ “If someone considers Aurangzeb as their idol, it shows a mental disorder. Even a civilized person would not name their child Aurangzeb. He imprisoned his own father, Shah Jahan. Even Shah Jahan himself said that no one should have a son like him. Uttar Pradesh is the best place to cure such a mindset. Come here, and we will treat you well.”

CM Yogi’s statements make it clear that he is focused on Uttar Pradesh politics and has no plans to move to Delhi. He sees himself as a servant of the people and a Yogi first. 🚩
