Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the ‘Anant Nagar Housing Scheme’ in Lucknow on Friday. This housing project is being developed by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) and aims to provide modern and affordable homes to people from all income groups.
🏘️ What is the Anant Nagar Scheme?
- The project will be developed on about 785 acres of land.
- It will include 18,237 flats and 2,485 plots.
- The price of the plots is fixed at ₹4,100 per square foot.
👪 Homes for All Income Groups
The housing scheme offers different options for people from economically weaker sections (EWS) and low-income groups (LIG). There will also be options for middle and high-income families.
🎓 Education Hub Planned
As part of this project, an ‘EduTech City’ will be developed on 100 acres. It will have schools, colleges, technical institutes, and medical education centers – from pre-primary to higher education.
🛠️ CM Yogi’s Instructions
CM Yogi directed that:
- The project must be completed on time using modern technology.
- The allocation process should be transparent, and people should not need middlemen.
- The focus should be on improving the ease of living in Lucknow.
