PM Modi’s Remarks on Congress: After winning the government in Haryana, the BJP is now focused on the Maharashtra Assembly elections. On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, Prime Minister Modi digitally laid the foundation for development projects worth over Rs. 7,600 crore in Maharashtra. He also inaugurated 10 medical colleges through video conferencing. During this event, he strongly criticized Congress, saying that their strategy is to divide and rule. He warned people to be cautious of Congress’s conspiracies, stating that “Congress has tried to provoke farmers.”

Accusations Against Congress for Dividing Society:

PM Modi said, “Congress fights elections based entirely on communal and caste-based politics. Dividing the Hindu society and using that as their winning formula is the foundation of Congress’s politics. Congress is suppressing India’s tradition of ‘Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaya’ (welfare and happiness for all) and the Sanatan tradition.”

PM Modi further added, “Congress’s policy is to pit one Hindu caste against another. Congress knows that the more Hindus are divided, the more they will benefit. Congress wants to keep stirring trouble within the Hindu society so they can take political advantage. Wherever elections happen in India, Congress applies this formula.”

PM Modi’s Appeal to Maharashtra:

PM Modi said, “I firmly believe that the attempts to divide society will be defeated by the people of Maharashtra. The people of Maharashtra should prioritize the country’s development and vote unitedly for BJP and Mahayuti.”

This speech by PM Modi emphasizes the importance of unity and warns against the divisive strategies he attributes to Congress.
