Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Design Leaked Ahead of Launch, New Camera Module Spotted

Share

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 FE has surfaced online months before its expected launch, giving smartphone enthusiasts an early glimpse at the device’s design. A newly discovered listing on the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) database appears to showcase the Fan Edition smartphone, revealing a notable change to its rear camera setup.

Galaxy S26 FE Appears in Wireless Power Consortium Listing

The certification listing, reportedly linked to model number SM-S741, is believed to belong to the Galaxy S26 FE. Alongside confirming wireless charging support, the listing includes an image that offers one of the clearest looks yet at Samsung’s next Fan Edition handset.

While the overall design language remains familiar, Samsung seems to be introducing a fresh approach to the rear camera module.

Samsung May Replace Floating Camera Rings

Recent Galaxy smartphones have featured individual camera lenses protruding directly from the rear panel, commonly referred to as a floating camera ring design. However, the leaked image suggests Samsung could be moving away from this design philosophy for the Galaxy S26 FE.

Instead, the smartphone appears to feature a dedicated raised camera island, similar to what has been seen on the Galaxy S26 series. The redesigned module houses the rear cameras within a single elevated section, giving the device a slightly different visual identity compared to previous Fan Edition models.

Camera Placement Draws Attention

The leaked render shows the camera island positioned near the top-left corner of the rear panel. The placement appears closer to the edges than on many recent Samsung devices, making the camera module stand out more prominently.

Although the design remains clean and modern, some observers may find the new layout less symmetrical compared to Samsung’s recent smartphone designs. Nevertheless, the final production model could still undergo minor refinements before launch.

Expected Specifications of Samsung Galaxy S26 FE

According to recent reports, the Galaxy S26 FE could be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset. The smartphone is also expected to feature 8GB of RAM, targeting users looking for flagship-level performance at a relatively affordable price.

On the software side, the device is rumored to launch with Android 17-based One UI 9 pre-installed, allowing users to access Samsung’s latest features and software enhancements from day one.

Launch Timeline

Samsung has not officially confirmed the Galaxy S26 FE yet. However, the appearance of the device in certification databases suggests development is progressing steadily. More details regarding its specifications, pricing, and launch schedule are expected to emerge in the coming weeks.

Until then, the latest leak provides an intriguing preview of what Samsung may have planned for its next Fan Edition smartphone.
