Domestic air travellers could soon receive some relief as the central government is considering a reduction in airline surcharges following a fall in global crude oil prices. According to Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu, the government is closely monitoring the trend in Air Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices before initiating discussions with airlines on reducing ticket prices.
