Xiaomi is expanding its power accessory lineup in India with two new magnetic power banks. The company has confirmed that the Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W and Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W will launch in the country on September 8.

The upcoming power banks are aimed at users looking for convenient portable charging, with the UltraThin model focusing on a slim design and magnetic wireless charging, while the 10,000mAh version is expected to offer faster wired charging.

Xiaomi Magnetic Power Banks Launching in India on September 8

Xiaomi has confirmed that both new magnetic power banks will be launched in India on September 8. The company has not yet announced their India prices or revealed when they will go on sale.

The Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W has already been introduced in select global markets. The model combines a compact design with magnetic wireless charging and USB Type-C wired charging.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W will offer a larger 10,000mAh battery and support charging speeds of up to 45W. Xiaomi has not revealed all the specifications of this model yet.

Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W Specifications

The UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank comes with a 5,000mAh typical battery capacity and uses a high-energy-density silicon-carbon battery. Its rated capacity is 3,000mAh at 5V.

One of its biggest highlights is its slim profile. The power bank measures 98.5 x 71.5 x 6mm and weighs around 98 grams, making it relatively easy to carry alongside a smartphone.

For wireless charging, the device supports up to 15W magnetic charging. Compatible iPhone models can charge wirelessly at up to 7.5W.

The power bank also features a USB Type-C port that supports up to 22.5W wired charging. Xiaomi says users can charge two devices at the same time by using the wired and wireless outputs together.

Focus on Heat Management and Safety

Despite its compact design, Xiaomi has included several features designed to manage heat and improve charging safety.

The UltraThin model uses a 4,369-square-millimetre graphite heat dissipation sheet along with a dual NTC temperature-control system. It also comes with multiple protection mechanisms, including safeguards against overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuits, overcharging and foreign objects.

Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W: What We Know

The second model launching alongside the UltraThin power bank is the Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W.

As its name suggests, it features a 10,000mAh battery and supports charging at up to 45W. Xiaomi has confirmed its launch for India but has not yet disclosed the complete specifications, design details or pricing.

More information about the 10,000mAh model is expected around its India launch.

Xiaomi has not announced the India price of either magnetic power bank yet. The company is expected to reveal pricing and sale details closer to the launch.

The UltraThin model is available globally in Graphite Black, Glacier Silver and Radiant Orange colour options, although Xiaomi has not confirmed which colours will be sold in India.
