Shehzad Poonawalla has secured the first finalist position in Rise & Fall Season 2 after winning the Ticket to Finale challenge. However, his decision to save Gautam Gulati over Swara Bhasker has triggered a fresh argument inside the Tower.
The competition on Rise & Fall Season 2 is getting more intense as the reality show’s grand finale approaches. In the latest episode, Shehzad Poonawalla achieved a major milestone by becoming the first contestant to secure a place in the finale. His victory in the Ticket to Finale task also helped him regain the Ultimate Ruler title.
While the achievement was a big moment for Shehzad, the celebrations did not last long. His next decision in the game created tension among the contestants, particularly Swara Bhasker, after he chose to save Gautam Gulati instead of her.
Shehzad Poonawalla Wins Ticket to Finale Challenge
The latest Ticket to Finale task tested the teamwork, coordination and problem-solving abilities of two contestant pairs. Karan Patel and Jashwanth Bopanna competed against Shehzad Poonawalla and Rishabh Jaiswal.
Both teams were given the responsibility of repairing a circuit board within the shortest possible time. Karan and Jashwanth completed the challenge in 35 minutes and 38 seconds.
However, Shehzad and Rishabh finished the task much faster, taking just 23 minutes and 46 seconds to complete it. Their impressive performance secured the victory for their team.
With this win, Shehzad became the first confirmed finalist of the season. He also reclaimed the Ultimate Ruler position, making him the first contestant in the season to hold the title twice.
Shehzad Chooses Gautam Gulati Over Swara Bhasker
Soon after the challenge, another major twist unfolded inside the Tower. The Rulers were called into the Red Room, where they had to make important decisions under the Fall Ka Farmaaan task.
Shehzad was given the responsibility of saving one contestant from the possibility of losing their position in the Penthouse.
He decided to save Gautam Gulati, leaving Swara Bhasker and Karan Patel among the contestants who were not selected.
Explaining his decision, Shehzad said he did not want to repeat his earlier mistake. He recalled saving Irina Rudakova in a previous decision, which eventually resulted in Gautam being sent to the Basement.
This time, he wanted to make a different choice and decided to give Gautam another opportunity to remain in the game.
Gautam Gulati Ranks the Remaining Rulers
After receiving safety, Gautam Gulati was given another responsibility. He had to rank the remaining Rulers based on their opinions, decision-making abilities and overall strength in the competition.
Gautam placed Swara Bhasker in the first position, followed by Karan Patel. Sonam Malik secured the third position, while Manish Kashyap was placed at the bottom of the list.
Gautam’s ranking added another interesting development to the ongoing competition, as contestants continued to evaluate each other’s performance and strategies.
Rise & Fall Season 2 Finale Race Gets More Competitive
With Shehzad Poonawalla becoming the first finalist, the remaining contestants now face greater pressure to secure their places in the grand finale.
His victory has also changed the power dynamics inside the Tower. The decision to save Gautam instead of Swara has created fresh tension, while the ranking task has further highlighted the differences in how contestants view one another.
