Akhilesh Yadav’s Funny Reply During Press Conference – Crowd Laughs

Date:

Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav held a press conference on Wednesday, 9 July 2025. During the event, a man made a special prayer and said,
“If Allah wills, you will become Prime Minister in 2029.”

Hearing this, Akhilesh smiled and replied,
“Don’t give movie-style dialogues like a reel. Next time, we won’t call you. Some people come just to get famous.”
His reply made everyone laugh.

Akhilesh Targets the Police

Akhilesh then said that some people just want publicity. He referred to a recent incident where someone tried to become popular and then had to face police action.
He said,
“If police visit your house, everything changes. Send an officer, and suddenly one person becomes good and the other bad.”

He Spoke About Tree Plantation Campaign Too

Akhilesh also shared two more stories.

  • One young man came to him crying, saying that police were harassing him and had taken ₹20,000 from his father.
  • The boy claimed it happened because he had written something on Facebook in support of the Kannauj MP.
  • But later, the boy’s father said the police didn’t take any money.

Akhilesh also hinted at another issue related to Pankhuri’s college admission in Gorakhpur.

Yash Bharti and Arjun Awards Will Be Back

Akhilesh said that if his party returns to power, they will restart the Yash Bharti Award and Arjun Award, which were stopped by the current government.
He also said that even the award money was taken away from past winners.

One Tree in Mother’s Name – Just an Event?

On a question about the campaign to plant one tree in the name of mothers, Akhilesh said,
“This is only an event. The government has no real plan behind it.”
