Defense Minister Rajnath Singh met with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to review and discuss ways to enhance the existing defense cooperation between the two countries.
In a social media post, Rajnath Singh said, “I had a great meeting with my dear friend, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. We reviewed our current defense cooperation activities and discussed ways to strengthen them. The signing of the supply security agreement and the deployment of Indian officials to key US commands are historic developments.”
Rajnath Singh arrived in the US on Thursday for a four-day official visit aimed at deepening the broad global strategic partnership between the two nations. During his visit, he also interacted with the Indian community.
