Dhurandhar 2 Release Date Confirmed: Ranveer Singh’s Sequel to Clash with ‘Toxic’ and ‘Dhamaal 4’

Date:

Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhurandhar’ has now been released in theaters and is receiving positive responses from the audience. The film’s star cast, thrilling performances, story, and action sequences are garnering much praise. Adding to the excitement, the audience received a special surprise at the end of the film: the release date for ‘Dhurandhar Part 2’ has been officially announced!

When Will ‘Dhurandhar 2’ Be Released?

The first part of ‘Dhurandhar’ is quite long, clocking in at 3 hours and 34 minutes (214 minutes runtime). This lengthy, yet engaging, first part concludes with a promise of a second installment. Not only that, but a glimpse of the sequel was shown at the end of the first film, hinting at the direction the story of ‘Dhurandhar Part 2’ will take.

The confirmed release date for ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is March 19, 2026, coinciding with the Eid festival. Fans are now even more excited for the sequel.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ Set for a Triple Clash

While Ranveer Singh’s recent release ‘Dhurandhar’ did not face major competition at the box office in December, ‘Dhurandhar Part 2’ is slated for a major clash in March. It will compete directly with Yash-starrer South Indian film ‘Toxic’ and the Bollywood film ‘Dhamaal 4’. All three are major releases, making it interesting to see which one dominates this cinematic battle.

Rakesh Bedi on ‘Dhurandhar Part 2’

Veteran actor Rakesh Bedi, who plays an important role in both ‘Dhurandhar’ films, confirmed that ‘Dhurandhar’ would be a two-part release, dismissing previous speculation.

In an interview with ITV Blink, he said:

“I am eagerly awaiting this film. Last year in January, when the film was starting, Aditya offered me this role in ‘Dhurandhar’. In this film, I am playing a very different role, and this will be revealed in the second part. I will be less visible in ‘Dhurandhar Part 1’, but will appear more in the second part. The second part will be released soon; it is ready and will release in a month or two. My character is very endearing and dangerous. He is inspired by a real-life politician from Pakistan; my look also resembles him.”

It is also confirmed that after its theatrical release, ‘Dhurandhar’ will be available for streaming on Netflix.
