The Pakistan Cricket Board often takes strange decisions, which not only affect its team, but also damage it and make a mockery of it. Even so, his shocking decisions do not stop. PCB does not back down even if it faces defeat, especially when it comes to clashing with the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

PCB will take a strange decision!
These days, there is a dispute between the cricket boards of both the countries regarding the Champions Trophy 2025, the decision of which has not yet come. Everyone is waiting to know whether the Indian team will travel to Pakistan or not, at such a time the Pakistan Cricket Board has shot itself in the foot. PCB is now going to compete directly with IPL, the world’s biggest T20 league.

Along with IPL, PSL will also be held!
Following the success of IPL worldwide, PCB also launched its T20 tournament Pakistan Super League in 2016. This league is also getting good response across the world and many big players have been seen playing in it. The main reason for this is the tournament being held in a different window from the IPL. Pakistan always hosts it between January and March, which allows some big players to play in it before the IPL. This is not expected to happen this time, as the 2025 season of both leagues could be held together.

Pakistan will suffer a huge loss
The Pakistani board has indicated in a meeting that the next season of PSL could be held between April 10 and May 25. That is, at the same time when the IPL season is played and players from all over the world are present in India. Now if the Pakistani board does this then it is certain that the big names who play in the Pakistani league apart from the IPL will not be able to play in it. Not only this, the number of people watching the Pakistan League on TV could also drop drastically, which could also affect earnings from broadcast rights.

Why is PCB competing?
Now the question is why the Pakistani board is doing this? In fact, the PCB is forced to do so, as this time they are also scheduled to host the Champions Trophy in Pakistan, which will run from February to March. Before this tournament, they will host a tri-series, in which New Zealand and South Africa will participate. In such a situation, they are left with no other option, due to which they have to compete with IPL. Now the question is whether PCB can find another window (dates) for this or not?
