Poco M8x 5G is expected to launch in India soon as the latest addition to Poco’s M8 smartphone lineup. The company has already teased the upcoming device, although the official launch date has not been announced yet. Ahead of the launch, a new leak has revealed the phone’s expected price and several key specifications.

According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Poco M8x 5G could be launched in India at a price below ₹20,000. If accurate, the smartphone could target buyers looking for a large display, 5G connectivity and a high-capacity battery in the mid-range segment.
For comparison, the Poco M8 5G was introduced in India at ₹18,999 for its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The Poco M8 Power 5G, meanwhile, starts at ₹24,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB configuration.

The leaked specifications suggest that the Poco M8x 5G could feature a 6.9-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate should make scrolling and supported animations feel smoother.
Under the hood, the smartphone is tipped to use the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. The leaked configuration includes 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with support for expandable storage.
One of the expected highlights is the battery. The Poco M8x 5G is reportedly equipped with a 6,000mAh battery and could support 33W wired fast charging.
On the software side, the phone is expected to ship with Android 16-based HyperOS 3.

Based on the teaser images, the phone appears to have a flat rear panel with a textured finish. A square-shaped camera module is positioned toward the top-left corner. The teased model features a green colour option with gold-coloured detailing around the frame and camera section.
The power and volume buttons appear to be placed on the right side of the device.
