JBL has expanded its premium audio portfolio in India with the launch of two new wireless headphones — the JBL Live 780NC and JBL Live 680NC. Positioned in the mid-to-premium segment, the latest offerings aim to compete with established rivals from Sony, Sennheiser and other leading audio brands.
The JBL Live 780NC has been introduced at a price of Rs 15,999, while the JBL Live 680NC carries a launch price of Rs 11,999. Buyers may also find additional savings through introductory discounts and bank offers across online platforms.
JBL Live 780NC and Live 680NC Features
Both headphones are equipped with 40mm dynamic drivers and JBL’s latest True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 technology. The upgraded system uses advanced real-time audio processing to minimize ambient noise and deliver a more immersive listening experience.
For voice calls, JBL has integrated beamforming microphone technology supported by an AI-powered noise reduction algorithm to improve call clarity. The JBL Live 780NC features six microphones, whereas the Live 680NC comes with a four-microphone setup.
The headphones also support JBL Spatial Sound, Personi-Fi 3.0 personalized audio tuning, LDAC Hi-Res Audio Wireless, Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, multipoint pairing and Auracast support.
Battery Life
JBL claims both models can deliver up to 80 hours of playback with Active Noise Cancellation turned off. With ANC enabled, users can expect up to 50 hours of battery life on a single charge. Additionally, the Speed Charge feature provides up to four hours of listening time with just five minutes of charging.
Design and Colour Options
The JBL Live 780NC and Live 680NC feature a foldable design with metallic detailing and soft-touch ear cushions for improved comfort during extended usage.
The Live 780NC is an over-ear headphone weighing approximately 260 grams, while the Live 680NC adopts an on-ear design and weighs 231 grams. Both models are available in seven colour variants, including Black, Blue, White, Champagne, Green, Orange and Purple.
Price and Availability in India
The JBL Live 780NC is priced at Rs 15,999 and is currently available for pre-order through JBL India’s official website and Amazon. Customers pre-booking the device can avail a Rs 2,000 discount along with a complimentary one-year extended warranty offer valid until July 31, 2026.
The headphone will officially go on sale during the Amazon Prime Day Sale scheduled from June 23 to June 26.
Meanwhile, the JBL Live 680NC, priced at Rs 11,999, is already available for purchase through JBL’s online store, Amazon and selected retail outlets across India.
With premium audio features, long battery life and advanced noise-cancelling capabilities, the JBL Live 780NC and Live 680NC are set to strengthen JBL’s position in India’s growing wireless headphone market.
