A special train for the Bharat Darshan tour was flagged off from Bettiah Railway Station by West Champaran MP Sanjay Jaiswal. This train, launched by IRCTC, will take pilgrims on a journey to six Jyotirlingas and other major religious sites. The train departed from Bettiah on Saturday and will return on September 3 after a memorable 10-night, 11-day journey. It will stop at various stations in UP and Bihar to pick up pilgrims.

- Ujjain’s Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga
- Shri Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga
- Dwarka Nageshwar Jyotirlinga
- Dwarkadhish Temple
- Shri Somnath Jyotirlinga
- Shirdi Sai Baba Temple
- Shri Tryambakeshwar Jyotirlinga
- Shani Shingnapur Temple
Facilities and Highlights
The train will offer all necessary facilities for a comfortable journey. It will serve food using electric appliances instead of gas cylinders, a first for such trains. The train can accommodate up to 1,000 passengers.
MP Sanjay Jaiswal’s Comments
MP Sanjay Jaiswal expressed his happiness, calling it a proud moment for the West Champaran constituency. He noted that this initiative allows pilgrims to visit six Jyotirlingas at a very low cost, highlighting it as a significant project by the Indian government.
First Time from Bettiah
This is the first time a Bharat Gaurav train has departed from Bettiah. Previously, such trains had only departed from Raxaul.
