Meanwhile, the OnePlus Nord 4 and the listed N-series models are expected to receive the update during the first quarter of 2027.
These are estimated rollout windows rather than guaranteed dates for individual devices.

OnePlus tablet owners are also included in the reported schedule. The OnePlus Pad 4 is listed for October 29, followed by the OnePlus Pad 3 in November.
The OnePlus Pad 2 and OnePlus Pad Go 2 are scheduled for December 2026, while the OnePlus Pad Lite appears in the first-quarter 2027 rollout window.

How to Check for the ColorOS 17 Update
Once the update becomes available for an eligible device, users can check for it through their phone’s software update settings.
Follow these steps:
- Open Settings on your OnePlus device.
- Navigate to About device.
- Tap the software version or OxygenOS/ColorOS update section, depending on your device.
- Check whether a new software update is available.
- If an update appears, follow the on-screen instructions to download and install it.
Before installing a major software update, back up important data, connect to a stable Wi-Fi network and ensure the battery is sufficiently charged.
Why Your OnePlus Device May Receive the Update Later
Even when a device appears on the rollout schedule, the update may not arrive immediately. Manufacturers often distribute major software releases in batches to monitor performance and identify potential issues.
The release can also vary by country, device variant and carrier. As a result, two users with the same phone model may receive the update at different times.
The reported roadmap may also change as software development and testing continue. Users should therefore rely on official OnePlus update notifications rather than assuming that a listed date guarantees immediate availability.
Final Words
The reported ColorOS 17 update roadmap covers a broad range of OnePlus smartphones and tablets, with the first devices scheduled for late October 2026 and the remaining models expected to follow through March 2027.
OnePlus 15 and Pad 4 users are listed among the earliest recipients, while several Nord series devices and the Pad Lite are scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
However, the roadmap’s details, including the reported transition from OxygenOS to ColorOS, require confirmation through official OnePlus announcements. Users should check their device’s software update settings and regional support information for the latest confirmed details.
