The Indian Air Force is going to conduct the biggest military exercise ever. The name of this exercise is ‘Tarang Shakti’. Air forces of 10 countries of the world will participate in this exercise, while the air forces of 18 countries will participate as observers. This exercise will be held in two phases. The first phase will run from 6 August to 14 August and the second phase will run from 29 August to 12 September.
In the first phase, this exercise will be held in Sulur, Tamil Nadu and in the second phase in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. 75 to 80 fighter planes of the Air Force will participate in it. In this, fighter planes of countries like America, Australia, Germany, France, Britain and Spain will show their strength.
Air forces of UAE, Singapore, Greece and Bangladesh will also participate in this exercise. However, India’s two strategic partners Russia and Israel will not participate in it. The reason for this is that Russia is embroiled in a war with Ukraine while Israel’s struggle against Hamas continues.
According to the Air Force, the main objective of this exercise named Tarang Shakti is to increase mutual trust, improve mutual coordination and learn from each other. Through this, ways of working together with friendly countries will be found and strategic relations will be strengthened.
Through this exercise, India will not only show its air power to the world, but will also demonstrate how the strength of the Air Force is increasing on the basis of self-reliance. Fighter aircraft like Rafale, Sukhoi, Mirage, Jaguar and Tejas will show their strength in the Tarang Shakti air war exercise. At the same time, along with attack helicopters Rudra and Prachand, transport aircraft C 130 and AWACS, i.e. Airborne Warning and Control System, will also be a part of the exercise.
Apart from this, France’s Rafale, Germany’s Typhoon and Australia’s F 18 will also be the main attractions during this period. It is clear that through this military exercise of many countries, the world will be exposed to the increasing power of the Indian Air Force.
