This exquisite ensemble, designed and styled by the renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra in collaboration with the artisans of Swadesh, is a testament to the beauty of traditional Indian craftsmanship.

The vibrant sari, a masterpiece in itself, was paired with a signature purple pichwai-inspired blouse, hand-painted by the extraordinary artist Shehzad Ali from Kishangarh, Rajasthan. The intricate design of the blouse features real gold varak work, adding an element of opulence to the overall look.

Mrs. Nita Ambani has always been a passionate advocate for Indian artisanship. Speaking about her love for traditional crafts, she said, “Over the course of Anant and Radhika’s wedding, I have enjoyed embracing the beauty of Indian weaves and embroideries, handcrafted by master artisans using age-old traditional techniques. Saris, with their intricate details of karigari, have brought me immense joy for as long as I can remember. I am humbled to play a small role in preserving and promoting our rich cultural heritage.”

He wrote, “This exquisite Pink Charbagh Sari is a representation of traditional Banarasi artistry, brought to life with a vibrant array of meena work in various colors using the rangkat technique. The Charbagh pattern, known for its complex and symmetrical garden motifs, is meticulously woven into the fabric. The use of multiple colors of meena work adds a rich, multi-dimensional effect, creating a tapestry of hues. Paired with a purple blouse with real gold varak work done specially by Pichwai artist Shehzad Ali from Kishangarh, Rajasthan. Designed and styled by me specially for #MrsNitaAmbani and woven by #Swadesh, marking another textile collaboration between Swadesh and Manish Malhotra World.”
