Rohit Sharma has made a strong push in the ICC ODI rankings, moving up to number 2. Babar Azam, who is currently at number 1, is facing increased competition. Rohit’s recent performances have impressed the cricket world, bringing him closer to the top spot. At 37 years old, Rohit Sharma is currently number 2 in the ODI rankings and number 6 in Test rankings. He gained his current position after scoring 157 runs against Sri Lanka, surpassing his teammate Shubman Gill. Nissanka also improved his ranking after scoring 101 runs in the same series, moving up to number 8. Sri Lanka ended a 27-year drought by defeating India in the ODI series.
