On Wednesday (August 28), Minister Kumar informed reporters that teachers, especially women, couples, or those with special circumstances, can now upload their petitions on the portal. If there are issues with the portal, they can also submit physical petitions to the department.

Completion Expected by End of September:
Minister Kumar mentioned that preparations are nearly complete. He expects approval to be granted within a week or ten days. Schools are categorized into five types based on geography: those across rivers, in hilly areas, semi-urban areas, urban areas, and rural areas. This will be considered for teacher placements.

On Online Attendance:
The education department has issued strict instructions for teachers to record their attendance online. Minister Kumar acknowledged that there may be some difficulties with the portal but emphasized that cuts will not be made due to these issues. He noted that sometimes problems arise with the portal, but it is important for everyone to adapt to using technology to ensure transparency and effective teaching. About 20% of portal-related work is still pending, but proper use of technology will benefit everyone.

Response to Safety Concerns:
Recently, a BPSC teacher drowned in Patna, leading to calls from teachers for increased safety measures. Minister Kumar has directed all district magistrates to decide on closing schools in flood-affected areas. In Patna, the district magistrate has already closed several schools due to the flood situation.

Fake Trading Scam: Investors Falling for Fake Trading Apps Lured by High Profits, Nithin Kamath Expresses Concern

0

Fake Stock Trading Apps: The Indian stock market is currently at an all-time high, with retail investors playing a crucial role. Since 2020, the number of demat accounts has grown from 4 crore to over 16 crore. Retail investors have made money in the market, but now they are being targeted by fake trading apps promising huge returns. These fake apps are becoming a major scam, and market experts are raising concerns. Nithin Kamath, founder of Zerodha, has expressed his worries about these fake trading apps on social media.

How the Fake Trading Scam Works:
Nithin Kamath posted on social media, explaining that these fake trading apps are misleading investors by making them believe that earning money in the market is very easy. Investors fall for this trap, leading to a large-scale scam. Kamath detailed how this fraud is carried out: first, investors are added to a WhatsApp group and then asked to install a fake trading app that looks similar to real brokers’ trading sites.

How the Scam is Operated:
Kamath explained that in these fake trading apps, investors might make money in a few trades initially. This builds their trust and convinces them that they can earn a lot of money. But then the real scam begins. The apps ask investors to transfer money for trading. When investors try to withdraw their money, they are asked to pay fees or taxes. Eventually, the WhatsApp group and its members suddenly disappear.

Educated People Falling for the Scam:
Kamath noted that even educated and intelligent people are falling for this scam. He advised investors to remember that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. He stressed the importance of being skeptical of claims of easy money. Kamath also shared a video to raise awareness among investors and encouraged people to share it with their friends and family.

CM Nayab Saini Claims Congress Had No Answers in Bhiwani

0

Before the Haryana Assembly elections, the ruling party BJP is actively campaigning. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is confident that the people of Haryana will vote for BJP for the third time. On Monday, August 26, he made this claim during a Jan Ashirwad rally in Bhiwani.

Addressing the Public: At the rally in Toshaam, Bhiwani, CM Nayab Singh Saini told the crowd, “I know what you are thinking. From every corner of Haryana, the same message is coming – ‘This time, BJP will win for the third time.’ This voice is also echoing in Chandigarh and Delhi.”

Criticism of Congress: CM Saini criticized Congress, saying that after reviewing BJP’s work over the past two months, Congress leaders have been silent. He stated, “When Congress was shown our work of the past two months, they had no answers. They couldn’t even respond to our work over the past ten years.”

Achievements of BJP: CM Saini highlighted the achievements of the BJP government, saying they have ensured water supply in the Toshaam region, purchased crops at MSP, and provided government jobs to children. He promised that if BJP wins for the third time, they will accelerate these efforts.

Tribute and Criticism: During the Jan Ashirwad Yatra, CM Saini paid tribute to former CM Chaudhary Bansilal, calling him a “great leader who helped build Haryana.” He also criticized former CM Hooda, saying, “Hooda didn’t learn from Bansilal, but we will learn from his legacy.”

When a Prisoner Transformed into a ‘Girl’: Police Stunned

0

In Brazil, a shocking incident took place in 2019 where a notorious drug trafficker transformed into a girl while in prison. This unusual event happened in Rio de Janeiro.

The Escape Attempt: As the visiting hours ended at the prison, a young girl with long black hair was seen leaving. The guards noticed something suspicious and stopped her. To their surprise, the girl was not a girl at all but a well-known drug trafficker trying to escape.

The Prisoner’s Plan: The prisoner, named Clauvino da Silva, was sentenced to 73 years and 10 months in prison. He planned to escape by disguising himself as his 19-year-old daughter. His strategy was to switch places with his daughter, leaving her behind in prison while he made his escape.

How He Was Caught: Da Silva’s plan might have succeeded if he hadn’t shown signs of nervousness. The guards became suspicious when they saw his anxious demeanor. They investigated and discovered his true identity. Da Silva had used a silicone mask to look like a woman and wore a pink T-shirt with donuts on it.

Revealing the Truth: When Da Silva removed his mask and wig, he revealed himself as a 40-year-old man. His real name was Da Silva, also known as “Baxinho,” a leader of the Red Command, one of Brazil’s most powerful criminal gangs.

Further Investigation: It is unclear whether Da Silva’s daughter was aware of his plan. Authorities also questioned seven others who had visited him. There was suspicion that one of these visitors might have helped him by smuggling the disguise into the prison.

Previous Escape Attempt: This was not Da Silva’s first escape attempt. In 2013, he escaped from a different prison with around 30 other inmates through the sewer system, but they were caught. Later, he was found dead in his cell, possibly due to the violence that frequently occurs in Brazilian prisons. Reports indicate that such violence is common, with severe incidents like riots leading to multiple deaths.

This bizarre story highlights the lengths some prisoners go to for freedom and the complex challenges faced by prison authorities.

Infosys CEO Salil Parekh has assured that everyone who has received an offer letter will eventually get a job. He acknowledged that there have been delays but promised that no one will be left disappointed.

Currently, around 2,000 engineering graduates from the 2022 batch are still waiting to join the company, nearly two years after receiving their offers. Parekh reaffirmed that those with offers will become part of the company, and Infosys will uphold its commitments. As of June 2024, Infosys employs approximately 315,000 people.

They reported a delay in joining for around 2,000 freshers who were offered roles as system engineers and digital specialist engineers in April 2022. NITES has claimed that Infosys has remained silent on the issue, leaving many young people’s futures uncertain.

Hiring Plans: Infosys has announced plans to hire 15,000 to 20,000 freshers this year. However, the company’s workforce decreased by about 6% to 315,332 employees in the June quarter, down from 336,294 a year ago. The company also reported a profit of ₹6,368 crore for the June quarter.
