India started its campaign at the Paris 2024 Paralympics on Thursday, August 29. The first day went well for India, and now, on the second day, several Indian athletes will be competing for medals. India has the potential to win 5 gold medals and 1 bronze today, making a total of 6 medals.
In Para Athletics, Sakshi Kasana and Karmjyoti will compete in the Women’s Discus Throw final. Additionally, Preeti Pal will take part in the Women’s 100 meters T35 final. If Indian athletes qualify in Para Shooting and Para Cycling, they could also compete in the finals. Bronze medal matches will also depend on qualification.
